The 9th Annual World LNG Series: Americas Summit took place on 16 – 18 March 2010.

A truly global gathering of the whole value chain

Over 200 delegates from 29 countries on five continents attended the meeting with LNG supplies represented from Qatar, Russia, Nigeria, Trinidad & Tobago, Yemen, Oman, Equatorial Guinea, Peru, Angola, Canada and Vietnam as well as the major LNG buyers, gas majors and solution providers.

Despite the emerging importance of shale gas, interest remains high in this crucial LNG receiving market, a sentiment that was clearly echoed by the world’s LNG producers who attended en masse. The mood was upbeat and positive as delegates discussed the important role of gas and LNG in the future American energy mix and the long term healthy prospects of the market.

As usual, the networking did not disappoint and delegates were able to mingle over welcome drinks, hosted breakfasts, networking lunches, informal round table discussions and also at our Tex-Mex themed dinner which proved to be a real highlight as the delegates were treated to the sounds of the Chris Story Band’s country and western sound whilst enjoying the renowned flavors of Tex-Mex cuisine.
